BUDAPEST, will you read this?




Dear lovely Budapest, 

We hope you had a fun time with us during the 90 minutes we played in your city. Or was it 70? We do not really remember, the sparkling wine was so cheap that we couldn’t stay away from it. Anyway, the last ca 30 minutes of the set was perhaps the best and funniest moments that we have ever had as members of Air France. We wish life could be like that every day, or at least every weekend.  Dancing to Jacques Greene with cool people. And how fantastic that we caught a glimpse of Rita Ackermann in the room. She is so incredibly cool. 

  The city was beautiful, especially at dusk, we took some incredibly beautiful pictures when we stood at Castle Hill and watched as the lights were lit in Pest. I wish I could have been holding my current girlfriend’s hand in that moment. We would like to come back in the spring, the parks looked very promising. And we missed going to the zoo.

 We would like to thank the following citizens a little extra. First and foremost, David and Sari for the incredibly fine hospitality and for showing us the city and for coping with all our questions and for taking us to the airport at 4 in the morning and for introducing us to Grandma.
